Simon Indimuli, OGW, MBS

Simon was appointed as the Secretary/SCAC by H.E The President on 30th January 2013.  He had however joined SCAC earlier, in 2012 having been appointed by the Public Service Commission as Director for Governance. He was later promoted to the post of Senior Director/SCAC in 2017 & served in that post until the current appointment.
Previously, Simon served at the Inspectorate of State Corporations rising through the ranks to the grade of Assitant Inspector General (Corporations). His experience in public sector spanned several other careers including Human Resource, Planning, Reforms etc.
Simon is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries (FCS); a member of the Institute of Human Redource Development (UK) & Institute of Human Resource Management (K).
He holds a Bachelors degree of Kenyatta University (K) and a Masters of Science degree of Kingston University (UK).
Simon shepherded the Development of MWONGOZO; The Code of Governance for State Corporations (2015) & is credited for coining the code's name- MWONGOZO. He took the initiative to champion & inculcate the MWONGOZO ethic thereby making it to gain traction in all corporate sectors in Kenya & several other African countries. To his credit on this front, he was invited as a key speaker during the Peer Review summit of African Ministers of Finance in Windhoek, Namibia (2019).
Due to Simon's diligence & contribution to the space of governance & management of State Corporations, he has received two State Honours by H.E The President:
1. Order of the Grand Warrior (OGW)
2. Moran of the Burning Spear (MBS)
